Game of Jobs: Cyberpunk (2021)

Cyberpunk is the sequel to a series of open-world multiplayer job fairs called Game of Jobs and this case is a follow up to original Game of Jobs, so please check it out first. It was a huge success and thanks to word of mouth we got a lot of new companies who wanted to take part in this one.

Visual style
Expressing height in top-down could be tricky. After conducting a visual research I came up with the following tricks for our art style: skyscrapers with their height extended down beyond the walkable landscape in contrast to ordinary houses that stand on the ground & the background houses fading in aerial perspective, also some things flying above the player such as patrolling drones and cars.

With that in mind, we created 10 unique branded houses: 
A bunch of new theme-related props:

New NPCs and 7 new player skins:

Flying cars, of course!


Also, unlike the Classic version the interior of the houses is now available seamlessly. Players no longer have to load a separate map for each house and spend extra time walking to chat with NPCs:

The whole game world was created by me using Tiled editor.
